About Asolare
We invite you to celebrate the islands' finest ingredients and freshest locally sourced products at Asolare. Spend an evening savoring Asian Fusion cuisine presented with impeccable service and complemented by unparalleled sunset views of the Caribbean Sea.We are located atop Caneel Hill just outside the town of Cruz Bay on St John in the United States Virgin Islands. Currently open seven days a week, we serve dinner from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 2 weeks in advance by calling 340.779.4747.
Originally constructed as a single family home in the 1950s, Asolare once played host to elite St John residents such as Laurence Rockefeller. In 1994, entrepreneur Winston Bennett converted the home into a restaurant and thus Asolare was born. For the past sixteen years we have continued to play host to visitors and residents of St John and strive to live by our motto: Asolare... the Purposeless, Leisurely and Agreeable Passing of Time. -
